RSGB Committees and Special Interest Groups room

RSGB Committees and experts

The RSGB has a number of Committees and Teams responsible for particular areas of interest within amateur radio. Pop along and have a chat with these experts: you’ll be able to hear updates on what the Committees are currently working on, ask questions, and have a general chat. You’ll be able to speak with:

• Representatives from the Youth Committee

• Morse Champion

• The RSGB’s Morse Test Coordinator, Eric Arkinstall, M0KZB –  Eric will be doing Morse Competency tests so you can receive an RSGB Morse Certificate of Competency

• Brickworks Champion

• Amateur Radio Direction Finding (ARDF)

Special Interest Groups

One of the most interesting aspects of the Convention is the selection of Special Interest Groups that attend. They are all so full of enthusiasm for their own areas that it is difficult to leave the Convention without being inspired to pursue different areas of amateur radio. This is a great opportunity to catch many of them in one place. You’ll be able to talk with representatives from:

• AMSAT UK

• British Amateur Television Club

• British Young Ladies AR Association

• CDXC: The UK DX Foundation

• IOTA

• RAYNET-UK

• UKBOTA

• UK Microwave Group (UKuG)

• UK Six Metre Group

• Vintage and Military ARS

• WACRAL

• Worked all Britain
