The RSGB 2026 AGM will be held online to ensure as many members as possible can watch and take part.
Calling Notice
Notice is hereby given that the 99th Annual General Meeting of the Radio Society of Great Britain will be held on Saturday 18 April 2026 online via the RSGB website and commencing at 10am for the transaction of the undermentioned business:
1. Resolution 1
To receive and, if approved, confirm the Minutes of the 98th Annual General Meeting held on 12 April 2025 and circulated to Members in the April 2026 RadCom.
2. Accounts
To receive and consider the accounts for the period 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 and the reports of the Board and the Auditor available online from 18 March 2026.
3. Resolution 2
To appoint Peters, Elworthy and Moore as auditors and to authorise the Board to fix their remuneration.
4. Resolution 3
To endorse two Nominated Directors – the candidates are Andrew Patrick Wood (known as Patrick Wood), 2E0IFB and Graham John Smith, G4NMD as Directors of the RSGB to serve on the Board.
5. Resolution 4
To elect two Directors – the candidates are Ben Lloyd, GW4BML; John E A Moss, G0KTW and Tony Miles, MM0TMZ as Directors of the RSGB to serve on the Board.
Explanatory note 1 (Resolution 3): The Articles require that Nominated Directors are endorsed by the Membership in a secret ballot on or before the AGM [Article 33c]. Andrew Patrick Wood, 2E0IFB and Graham John Smith, G4NMD were recommended to the Board for endorsement by the Nominations Committee at its meeting on 8 January 2026. The Board accepted the recommendation at its meeting on 23 January 2026. Andrew Patrick Wood, 2E0IFB and Graham John Smith, G4NMD are therefore offered for endorsement in accordance with the Articles. If endorsed they will serve an initial term of three years ending at the 2029 AGM.
Explanatory note 2 (Resolution 4): In addition to the vacancies for Nominated Directors two vacancies for Elected Directors are due to be filled at the 2026 AGM. A request for candidates was set out in the December 2025 and January 2026 RadComs and online. At the closing date for nominations on 31 January 2026 three candidates were duly nominated: Ben Lloyd, GW4BML; John E A Moss, G0KTW and Tony Miles, MM0TMZ. As this exceeds the number of vacancies under Article 36 a secret ballot of members is required. The two successful candidates will be the two candidates who achieve the highest number of votes in the ballot. They will serve a three-year term until the 2029 AGM.
The RSGB Annual Report and Financial Statements are now available. As usual, the accounts will be audited and will be filed on public record at Companies House.
