Contest General Rules proposals
The starting point for this consensus-forming consultations is the following document:
The consultation is open to all RSGB members.
The consultation commenced on 10 August 2012 and will close at 23.59 BST on 16 September 2012.
A similar process to our other Litmus Tests will be adopted whereby the discussion will be facilitated by moderators Ian Pawson, G0FCT and Don Field, G3XTT who additionally have the task of calling the consensus view a week or so before the end of the period.
These last two weeks are for any final comments.
Contest General Rules Litmus Test
Please note you will need your RSGB Members’ Area login to access the Litmus Test.
If you have not used the Members’ Area before you can request your user name and password online. [LINK TO OLD SITE]
You can either post as a Guest, or register for a user account which will work for future members only Litmus Tests.
We ask people to use their call sign/RS number as username when registering.
If you registered for the Strategy and Governance Litmus Test, then you dio not need to register again.
Registered users will need to login to the Litmus Test each time they visit the site; the benefit is that registered users’ posts appear immediately on the website.
If you choose not to register but instead post as a Guest, either out of choice or because you forgot to login to the Litmus Test, there will be a short wait while your post is read and approved by a moderator; this is to avoid abuse and spam posts.
