Support Team

Support Team

The members of the Support Team each have distinct roles but also work together to share knowledge and create links to help improve services for RSGB members

Headquarters Team (HQ)
RSGB HQ provides professional services to achieve and develop the work of the Society. This small, friendly team interacts every day with RSGB members, volunteers, clubs and the public. Its responsibilities cover a wide range of areas including exams, membership, RadCom and its supplements, book publishing, the RSGB National Radio Centre (NRC), internal and external communications, web and IT services as well as the RSGB’s prestigious annual events.

Regional Team
The Society is organised by regions. Within each region a small group of volunteers provides the first point of contact for clubs, members or for the general public. An elected Regional Representative leads a small team of District Representatives.

Volunteer Leadership Team (VLT)
The VLT is a group of leading volunteers and key HQ staff members. It provides a focus for the development of amateur radio within the priorities identified in the RSGB Strategy 2022. It meets regularly to launch and review major developments and discuss specific topics such as spectrum defence, as well as support for RSGB members and clubs.
