Worked All Britain (WAB)

Worked All Britain (WAB) was founded in 1969 by the late John Morris, G3ABG, with the aim of promoting interest in amateur radio, while improving and expanding geographical knowledge of Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Channel Isles

Since its inception, WAB has grown through the voluntary efforts of many individuals.

WAB now administers a number of seasonal, timed and perpetual awards, all based upon the standard Ordnance Survey Grid Reference system from which the WAB 10km square reference is derived

WAB was built upon the founding motto To Assist Others encouraging best practice on the air, helping others less fortunate amateurs where we can, and making—when funds allow—annual charitable donations to groups such as RAIBC and RNLI.

Further details of all these activities can be found at worked-all-britain.org.uk.
