70.5 MHz and 71.5 MHz NoV
The purpose of this Notice of Variation is to authorize the licensee to use the Station between 70.5MHz and 71.5MHz for digital experimentation
Access to this part of the spectrum is time-limited to 12 months and available to Full Licence holders only.
Please read the further information linked to below before you download the NoV since there are geographic limitations that may mean you cannot use the new frequencies from your main station address.
Note that Ofcom’s objective in allocating this new part of the spectrum was to encourage amateurs to experiment and test new communications schemes and systems rather than provide for “more of the same”.
Required information
To complete your NoV application please you will need the following items
-
Your call sign
-
Your station address and postcode
-
Your licence reference (the number of your valid, Full amateur radio licence)
Important note – regional secondary locator placeholders
