Walt Bridgen, G4XSB – 6 February 2026
Walt Bridgen, G4XSB sadly passed away on 6 February 2026.
He was a true gentleman who worked hard in his local community helping many people to gain qualifications to get them into work. An avid well – respected radio amateur attending rally’s all over the country and Germany.
Walt taught and guided many new radio hams plus ran courses to help them gain their licences. He liked nothing better to spend time in his radio shack with his beloved dog Meg.
Walt never saw problems only solutions. He was an inspirational dad, loving husband, great friend, grandad and brother.
He will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
