Mike Mills, G3TEV, 13th November 2020
Mike Mills, G3TEV passed away on 13th November 2020 in Gloucester Royal Hospital. He was 88. He had been taken into hospital with a severe lung infection and was subsequently tested positive for Covid-19.
Mike had a fantastic knowledge of his area’s history, together with a keen interest in photography, railways, canals and aviation. His enthusiasm for our radio hobby never diminished, maintaining skeds on 80m and 2m with his friends over the decades. He also had a very strong association with Brian, 9J2BO, with whom he had QSOs almost on a daily basis.
We offer our deepest sympathies to Margaret and their son Andrew on their great loss.
