It is with regret that I have to inform you that my dad passed away on 29th March aged 75. Unbelievably my mother passed away the following day.

Dad was a former RAF Boy Entrant Telegraphist, joining in 1956 at aged 16, and left the RAF in 1980 after 24 years. He worked for BT for 20 years, retiring in 2000. Although he had a Kenwood TH 77E, which was in a box in the attic, he only transmitted in Morse> He was a member of RAFARS and the G QRP Club. He had a nice set upat his bungalow in Boston using a kit-built low power radio, a Yaesu FT 101ZD and an aerial that went down the garden.
