RSGB DX trophies presented at 2022 Convention

Today at the RSGB Convention we presented two prestigious trophies for achievement in the field of DX.

Ian Justice, M0RNH was awarded the G5RP Shield, for the greatest progress in DX made by an RSGB member resident in the UK during the year.

Keith Evans, G3VKW won the ROTAB Trophy for outstanding and consistent DX work.

Ian Justice, M0RNH

Ian gained his UK Foundation licence in 2020, and quickly progressed through to Intermediate and Full. He now spends most of the month in the Netherlands, using call sign PA0RNH. Ian keeps separate logs of his QSOs, most using digital modes. Recently he has been operating phone using the cluster to search out remote DX stations to increase his DX country count. As well as being an RSGB member, Ian belongs to Stockport Radio Society, CDXC and VERON, the Netherlands national radio association.

Keith Evans, G3VKW

Keith is an avid HF DXer, mainly on CW, but also enjoys phone QSOs and the occasional burst on RTTY. He is on the Top of the Honour Roll, has 5 Band DXCC, with 30, 17, 12 and 6 metre endorsements, and has 5 Band Worked All Zones. Keith is a founder member, and a former Vice President, of the Chiltern DX Club (CDXC) and a past Chairman of Crawley Amateur Radio Club. Since 1991 Keith has been the Sysop of GB7DXS DXCluster.
