W5JON will be operating as V47JA from his holiday home at Calypso Bay on St Kitts, IOTA reference NA-014, from 25 June to 6 August. He plans to be active on 160 through to 6m bands on SSB including operation on 60m. Paper QSLs go direct only to W5JON at his callbook address. Electronic QSLs are via Logbook of the World.

Matti, OH4SS will be operational stroke OH0 from Brando Island, EU-002, between 28 to 30 June. Activity will probably be only on 40, 17 and 15 meters on SSB only. QSL direct only, via OH4SS.

ON6KE has announced that he will be active stroke T F from Iceland, EU-021, between 27 June and 4 July. His operation will be low power holiday style, mostly in the early mornings and evenings on the HF bands using CW, SSB and JT65. Equipment is a FT-817ND and magnetic loop antenna. QSL only electronically using Logbook of the World or eQSL.

JG8NQJ is returning to Minami Torishima and will be active as JG8NQJ/JD1 until mid-August. He operates only CW and is employed at the local weather station while on the island. Minami Torishima counts as OC-073 for the Islands on the Air Award as well as being a separate entity for the DXCC programme.

An expedition to the South Kuril Islands takes place from 18 – 25 June. The callsign will be RI0F and the actual location will be Anuchina Island. The IOTA reference is AS-062 and QSL Manager is RX3F.
