GOTA4C construction competition

| November 27, 2020

As we approach this unusual Christmas, many radio amateurs will be warming up soldering irons and installing new development environments on computers – getting ready for projects they plan to tackle over the long winter break.

The RSGB’s new GOTA4C construction competition is open to projects that have been carried out during the autumn 2020 lockdowns or which will be undertaken over the Christmas holiday season. Projects can be hardware, software or a system and may be based on a kit.

The winning entry will receive a prize of £100 and will be featured on our website and in RadCom.

To enter

  • Send a short description of your project to gm.dept@rsgb.org.uk
  • We would also like to see a few photographs, a video of it working if possible, and any related circuit diagrams
  • Deadline for entries is 1 February 2021

Special consideration will be given to simple projects that other radio amateurs could try.

If you enter this competition you can also resubmit the same project to the 2021 RSGB Annual Construction Competition.

Whether you’re new to amateur radio or have been enjoying it for years, why not try building something new and enter our competition!
