Legacy Committee vacancy

The RSGB Legacy Fund, thanks to the generosity of donors, has resources available to encourage and develop amateur radio. The distribution of the Legacy Fund is overseen by the Legacy Committee which is a sub-committee of the Board. The Legacy Committee considers applications from individuals and groups and advises the RSGB Board in reaching its funding decision. The majority of the work of the Legacy Committee is undertaken via email and there have been eleven applications for funding in 2025.

The Legacy Committee is looking for a new member to support this important work to help amateur radio move forward. You will need:

  • Broad interest in, and understanding of, amateur radio
  • Interest in the latest technologies in amateur radio
  • Ability to make objective decisions based on the information presented in applications
