About Terry

Terry’s interest in radio communications was kindled by his science master at school, Jim Turner, G3AYZ, and he has been a shortwave listener since 1949. Terry built a lot of his own equipment from war surplus parts and his first commercial radio was an R1155 from an RAF Bomber.

His current radio interests are SDR radios operating SSB and CW, working DX, IOTA and the SOTA awards. He continues to homebrew some ham radio equipment. Having been involved with amateur radio software development for over 20 years, Terry is now fully engaged in the development of the free logging program Log4OM with Daniele, IW3HMH.
