About Laurie

Laurie Margolis has been an RSGB member since 1959, originally A-2111; a licensed amateur as G3UML since 1965; and a BBC journalist working across the world since 1974.

He currently works as an editor at New Broadcasting House in London.

Twice in his life he’s been central to amateur radio involvement in the biggest news stories.
