Appointment of Regional Forum Chair

The RSGB is pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Hosey, MI0MSO, as the new Regional Forum Chair, effective from 1 October 2026.

Philip is well known to many members and volunteers across the Society. He brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served Regional Forum Chair and currently holding the position of RSGB Special Interest Group (SIG) Manager. Over more than a decade of volunteering with the RSGB, Philip has represented the Society in a variety of roles, developing a strong understanding of both the organisation and the amateur radio community it serves.

His extensive knowledge, leadership experience, and longstanding commitment to supporting members and volunteers make him ideally placed to lead the Regional Forum Team as it continues to strengthen engagement with radio clubs and amateurs across the UK.
