RSGB QSL Bureau Service reminders

The RSGB QSL Bureau Service has three important reminders for radio amateurs using the service.

Please check that your RSGB membership record contains any call sign allocated to you that you wish to receive QSL cards for. This includes Special Event call signs for which you are the NoV holder, and Short Contest Calls. You can check this by logging into the RSGB membership portal. If you have any problems, you can contact RSGB HQ for help.

Secondly, the Society has received feedback from the sub-manager network that suggests that Royal Mail is strictly enforcing its postage criteria. This is particularly relevant when sending SAEs to your sub-manager. If you are using standard postage, Royal Mail is very likely to reject your package if it is more than 5mm thick.

Finally, have you recently acquired an M8 or M9 call sign, either by changing your call sign or passing the Intermediate examination? Ray, 2E1DFI, the sub-manager for Intermediate call signs in England reports that very few Members have sent him SAEs for these calls.
