RSGB Lecture Coordinator – create engaging learning experiences

The RSGB delivers over sixty fascinating lectures each year, blending in-person, hybrid and online formats. Around fifty of these take place at the flagship RSGB Convention, with a further eleven presented through our popular livestreamed Tonight@8 webinar series.

These presentations cover a rich variety of amateur radio topics, catering to every level of experience – from curious beginners to seasoned experts. They attract audiences from across the globe, earning admiration from RSGB members and non-members alike.

As Lecture Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in shaping this programme. Working closely with the Tonight@8 and Convention teams, you’ll bring fresh ideas for talks that educate, inspire and spark curiosity. Your efforts will encourage radio amateurs to explore new areas, deepen their knowledge and embrace the excitement of amateur radio – all while supporting the Society’s strategic priorities.

You’ll lead the invitation and scheduling process for Tonight@8 webinars and contribute to decisions on Convention presentations.

If you’re proactive, collaborative and passionate about creating engaging learning experiences, this is your chance to make a real impact in the world of amateur radio.

If you’re interested in the role or would like to find out more, please contact the RSGB General Manager Steve Thomas, M1ACB via gm.dept@rsgb.org.uk
