RSGB Board – December key messages

Following its meeting in December, the RSGB Board has shared these key messages:

• Board confirmed arrangements for the membership strategy workshop to be held in January. This is an important project to try to increase membership and encourage member retention
• The arrangements for the improved QSL Bureau Service were reported to the Board
• The Board finalised the 2026 Budget and confirmed its provisional view that it would not increase membership subscriptions. Instead, it would press on with work that had the potential to increase the Society’s revenues
• HQ had been handling a significant increase in the number of phone calls mainly because of the new ability for members to change call signs. Members are reminded that changes in call sign can be made through the Membership Portal
• Board reviewed the numerics of the Convention – these were very positive and Board asked that its thanks be passed to the HQ staff and volunteers involved in organising the event
