RSGB Nominations Committee update

The Board has appointed Graham Murchie, G4FSG as the new Nominations Committee Chair. Nominated Directors are selected by the Society’s Nominations Committee and are then subject to an endorsement vote as part of the AGM voting. There is no functional difference between a Nominated or Elected Director, and all serve the Board in the same way for a three-year term. The deadline for applications for the two Nominated Director roles in the current RSGB elections process is Friday 5 December.

The Society would like to increase the diversity of its Board and is also looking particularly for radio amateurs who have knowledge of the science and technology of amateur radio, and the spectrum it uses.
