Former BBC engineers visit RSGB National Radio Centre
In mid-November, the duty volunteers were delighted to welcome a group of former BBC engineers to the NRC.
Seen in the photo are Steve, G8XGG; Dave, G6OVY; Ian, G4IXT; Clive, GW4MOG; and Paul Dunn.
It provided an interesting insight, being able to discuss the exacting requirements of commercial broadcasting alongside that of amateur radio.
Most of those who visited were also present at Daventry for the recent activation of the GB100BBC and G2LO call signs, celebrating 100 years of the BBC.
