Worked All Britain are commemorating the Rugby World Cup 2015 using GB0RWC from 15 September to 31 October. Nine radio clubs are taking part, each in a locality in which the teams will be playing. The venues are in Whitton, Cheltenham, Sutton Coldfield, Barry, Harrow, Angel of the North, Cray Valley, Leicester, Sidmouth and finally back to Whitton. QSL cards are not required for WAB, but for those that require one for other purposes, eQSL will be available. Full details are on the WAB website.

M0MNG is taking part in the International Air Ambulance Week for the first time this year, supporting the Kent and Sussex air ambulance. Operations start on Monday, 21 September, conclude next Sunday, and will mainly be on 40m SSB and 2m, plus the Echolink Ireland conference. On the afternoon of Saturday the 26th he will be on high ground on 4m, 2m and 70cm. Details are on QRZ.com.

The UKHUB has an NoV for the National Hamfest. Simplex gateway link MB7IHF will be on 434.475MHz with 77Hz CTCSS from Thursday to Saturday evening. It will give access for third party traffic to use the UKALLSTAR linked repeater system, which is linked all over the UK and some overseas gateways.

The DMRplus UK Group has also been granted an NoV to run a demonstration repeater for the National Hamfest. Using the callsign GB7HUK, Tx is 439.600MHz and Rx is 430.600MHz, Colour Code 1.

On 26 and 27 September, Harlow and District ARS will be using GB0EOR to activate Epping and Ongar Railway for Railways on the Air. They will be active on the 40, 20 and 2m bands from the railway station at North Weald. Many other special event call signs will also be on the air for the same event.

The Canvey Community Archive will be hosting a history trail day at the Bay Museum on Canvey Island on 27 September. The aim on this day is to have all the museums, historical sites, etc. open and available to the public and linked by a heritage bus service.
