Rallies and Events News – 29 March 2015

The 29 March, the Devon and Cornwall Repeater Group and Callington ARS Rally will be held in the Callington Town Hall, Callington, Cornwall PL17 7BD. Doors open at 10am and admission is £2,. There will be a bring-and-buy. Details from Roger by email to 2e0rph@gmail.com

The Ripon Radio Rally will take place in Hugh Ripley Hall, Ripon, North Yorkshire HG4 2PT, 100 metres west of the High Skellgate traffic lights on the B6265, 29 March. Doors open at 10am and admission is £2. There will be a bring-and-buy as well as refreshments available. The organisers warn prospective visitors that the bring-and-buy is upstairs, so if you can’t carry it, don’t bring it! Email rally@ripon.org.uk for further details.

There are no rallies taking place over the Easter weekend, 3 to 6 April. The next is the 31st Yeovil QRP Convention, which will take place on 12 April at Digby Hall, Hound Street, Sherborne, Dorset DT9 3AA. There will be talk-in on S22 and the doors open from 9.30am to 3pm. Admission is £3 and there will be trade stands, a bring-and-buy as well as a lecture stream. Also on 12 April the 52nd Northern Amateur Radio Societies Association Exhibition will be held at Norbreck Castle Exhibition Centre, Blackpool FY2 9AA. Doors open from 10.30am, with disabled visitors gaining access 15 minutes earlier. There will be trade stands and a bring-and-buy as well as an RSGB bookstall.
