There will be a free to attend talk by the IET on the Future of Radio Spectrum taking place in Bromley on 3 October. The use of the Radio Spectrum is continuously evolving with new standards, services and ever higher number of devices/users. What does this all mean to the way we manage it and resolve interference problems will be discussed by Richard Holmes. The lecture takes place at 10am for a 10.30am start at Bromley Central Library, High Street, Bromley BR1 1RS. There is no need to pre- register for this event.

The BATC Convention takes place next weekend, 6 and 7 October, at the Everest Community Academy, Basingstoke. There will be lectures, trade stands, special interest groups and a Bring & Buy. The event includes BATC Biannual General Meeting on Sunday 7th. More details on the website www.batc.org.uk.

The Autumn Militaria & Electronics & Radio Amateur Hangar Sale takes place on Sunday 7 October at Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker, Nantwich, Cheshire, CW5 8AL.
