Tim Peake and ARISS – get involved

| August 28, 2015

Later this year, astronaut Tim Peake will join the International Space Station for six months.

During his time in orbit he will have contact with up to 10 schools via amateur radio.

These schools have been chosen by the European Space Agency and the RSGB will be working closely with them, and their local clubs, before, during and after the contacts.

However, we’d like to share this opportunity with other schools, universities and young people’s organisations.

If you’d like to be part of a team that develops activities and talks focused on using amateur radio to contact space, please let us know.

Email gm.dept@rsgb.org.uk and put ARISS PROJECT as your email subject title.
