Whilst the Centenary station has completed its year of being operated around the UK, you are reminded to submit your claim for the Centenary Award. As well as individual certificates for the HF and VHF/UHF Awards, special Commemorative Plaques will be awarded to the holders of a UK Full, Intermediate and Foundation amateur licence, leading SWL and leading overseas station, who has the highest overall score submitted by 23:59 UTC on 31st January 2014.  Full details on claiming these awards can be found on the RSGB website at www.rsgb.org/centenaryclaim.

Over 40 people supported the first Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society Amateur Radio Skills Workshop at Danbury on Monday 20th January. Attendees had the chance to try out some hands-on demos of Echolink, APRS and the new logging program uLog by Charlie, M0PZT, which was launched at the event.
