The first in the 2014 series of 4m Cumulatives takes place this morning, the 22nd, from 1000UTC to 1200UTC. Between February and August there will be five sessions. Using all modes the exchange is signal report, serial number and locator.

The 48 hour ARRL International DX Contest ends at 2359 today, the 22nd. This is the CW leg, with the SSB leg next month. Work Ws and VEs only, exchanging a signal report and your transmit power. US and Canadian stations send State/Province code, instead of power.

The 36 hour REF French contest also takes place on SSB ending at 1800UTC today, the 22nd. Work France and French overseas territories only. Send a signal report and serial number. French stations send a 2-digit Department code instead of serial number.

On Tuesday the 50MHz UK Activity Contest runs from 2000 to 2230UTC using all modes. The exchange is signal report, serial number and locator.

Also on Tuesday it’s the SHF UK Activity Contest from 2000 to 2230UTC. Using all modes on the 2.3 to 10GHz bands the exchange is signal report, serial number and locator.

Next weekend is the CQ WW 160m DX starting at 2200UTC on Friday 27th and running for 48 hours. It’s SSB only and the exchange is signal report and CQ Zone, which for the UK is 14.
