Tim Peake launch events – be involved!
On 15 December, British European Space Agency astronaut Tim Peake will be launched on his mission to the International Space Station
The RSGB will be at the launch events in London, Cardiff and Belfast—come and say hello and be part of the launch build-up.
There will be space experts, activities to get involved in and there will be a former astronaut at each event.
The events are free so to find out timings and more information, take a look at their websites:

If you can’t get to an event, watch the launch live on the BBC or online via the space agency newsfeed.
During his stay on the ISS, he plans to make contact with selected schools within the UK via the ARISS programme, supported by the RSGB, and the first of these is programmed for the first week of the New Year.
