Hastings and District Electronics and Radio Club holds a daily net on 144.575MHz FM at 10am. A CW net is held on Monday nights at 8pm on 144.575MHz. The net is aimed at anyone new to CW or wishing to brush up their CW skills. You can also join in just for fun. This is followed by general conversation. Non-members are welcome. On Wednesdays at 1pm, members meet up at the Fairlight Lower Coastguard Lane Car Park, for an afternoon of portable radio on the air using both HF and VHF on SSB, CW and FM Voice.
