As mentioned in the Main News, many clubs have notified us that they are suspending meetings due to the Covid-19 outbreak. As the government advice is to refrain from social gatherings, we have only included the details of regular nets as well as those newly created in place of club meetings. Several clubs have suggested keeping an ear on your local repeater to chat with anyone who is self-isolating or just wanting a chat.

Medway Amateur Receiving and Transmitting Society has cancelled all activities until further notice. More information will be found at http://www.marts.org.uk

Echelford Amateur Radio Society has cancelled all forthcoming meetings and events until further notice. More information from Phil, M1GWZ, via email to m1gwz@icloud.com

Crystal Palace Radio & Electronics Club committee has reluctantly decided to suspend meetings and will be in touch with members from time to time with updates. The club net will continue on Wednesdays from 8pm on 145.525MHz.

Surrey Radio Contact Club has suspended all meetings until further notice. Check www.srcc.uk for updates.

Bredhurst Receiving & Transmitting Society is stopping all social gatherings but will be holding a club net on Tuesday evenings on GB3DA from 7.30pm. More information will be posted at www.brats-qth.org

Shefford & District Amateur Radio Society will not be holding club evenings for the foreseeable future. There will be a club net instead from 8pm, starting on 145.500MHz and then moving to a clear channel. For updates see www.sadars.co.uk

Worthing & District Amateur Radio Club has its 80m net today and next Sunday from 7.30am. Monday sees a net on 2m from 7.30pm. On Thursday it’s the 40m net from 11am. For details, email chairman@wadarc.org.uk

Thurrock Acorns Amateur Radio Club has a net on Tuesday from 7.30pm on 144.300MHz SSB. Thursday sees a net from 7.30pm on 145.500MHz FM. For details, email acorns@taarc.co.uk

Hilderstone Radio Society has cancelled all club meetings & special event stations for at least the next twelve weeks. This includes the EGM, planned for the 9th April. Notification of normal resumption of activities will be announced in due course. A net will operate from 7pm in GB3EK in lieu of meetings.
