We start with news from Hilderstone Radio Society that they have outgrown their present home and are moving, this week, to the Scout HQ of the 1st Margate (St Johns) Scout Group. Hilderstone RS has previously helped their local Scouts movement with Jamboree on the Air and Thinking Day on the Air, and used the HQ as an examination centre. Fort Purbrook Amateur Radio Club has an open net today and next Sunday from 6.30pm on 433.450MHz, later moving to GB3IW. On Monday there’s an open net from 8pm on 145.275MHz. Contact Chris, G3WIE, via email to g3wie@fparc.org.uk.

Mid Sussex Amateur Radio Society is taking part in the Burgess Hill Summer Fayre today. On Friday there’s a fox hunt. Contact Peter, G4AKG, on 01444 239 371.

Radio Society of Harrow has a fox hunt from the shack today plus its net on 1938kHz LSB from noon today and next Sunday.  Monday sees a club net from 8.15pm that settles on 145.350MHz FM. The shack is open on Thursday from 10am to 3pm.
