We start with news from clubs that have several events this week.

This Sunday Colchester Radio Amateurs continue into their second day operating their special event station, GB6NT, at Naze Tower, Walton, for International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend. They will be operating across the bands on phone, FT8, CW and PSK through to 4pm. On Tuesday they hold a net on 433.425 FM from 7pm, and a Top Band net on 1.925MHz at 7.45pm. This Sunday Loughton and Epping Forest Amateur Radio Society continues operating its special event station, GB0TBW, from Trinity Buoy Wharf, as part of International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend. Thursday sees the net from 8pm on 144.725MHz. Next Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday they are holding a field weekend at the Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker. This Sunday and next Sunday Radio Society of Harrow has its club net on 1938kHz LSB from 12 noon. Monday sees a club net from 8.15pm on 145.500MHz, and next Sunday there’s an outdoor event at Old Redding car park from 2pm to 5pm. Enquires to Linda, G7RJL, via email to lcasey100@outlook.com.

Surrey Radio Contact Club has a net this Sunday and next Sunday on 1905kHz from 9.30am. On Monday there’s a chat, fix-it and skills session. Thursday sees a net on 70.300MHz from 8pm, and on Friday there’s a net on 145.350MHz from 8pm. More info from John, G3MCX, on 020 8688 3322.

On Wednesday Southdown Amateur Radio Society has an FM net on 145.275MHz from 8.30am, a cafe meeting at 12.30pm, and a CW net on 144.060MHz from 7pm. Next Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday they are at the Festival of Transport. Further info from Tom, M6ONX, via email to secretary@sars.club.

Next Saturday, Sunday and Monday Guildford and District RS, Wey Valley ARG, and the Guildford Repeater Group will be celebrating 100 years of amateur radio in Guildford, running a special event station over the Bank Holiday weekend on HF, VHF and digital modes, and possibly DMR on the Guildford repeater GB7GF.
