We start with news from clubs that have several events this week.

This Sunday and next Sunday the Radio Society of Harrow has its club net on 1938kHz LSB from 12 noon, and Monday sees another club net starting on 145.500MHz at 8.15pm. Contact Linda, G7RJL, via email to lcasey100@outlook.com.

Surrey Radio Contact Club has a net on 1905kHz this Sunday and next Sunday from 9.30am. Thursday sees a net on 70.300MHz from 8pm, and on Friday it’s on 145.350MHz from 8pm. More from to John, G3MCX, on 020 8688 3322.

Lowestoft District and Pye Amateur Radio Club holds an informal/operating evening on Monday, and Thursday sees a club open night. Enquiries via email to secretary@ldparc.co.uk.

Colchester Radio Amateurs hold a 70cm net on Tuesday at 7pm on 433.425 FM, and a Top Band net at 7.45pm on 1.925MHz. On Wednesday there’s a 2m net on 145.350MHz from 7pm, and Thursday sees an 80m net on 3.685MHz from 7pm, and they hold a meeting at the Observatory. Next Saturday and Sunday they will operate GB6NT, from Naze Tower, Walton CO14 8LE, for ILLW. They will be operating across the bands on Phone, FT8, CW and PSK, from early Saturday morning through to Sunday 4pm. They will post updated frequencies on their Facebook page. Crystal Palace Radio and Electronics Club has its net on Wednesday at 8pm on 145.525MHz ± QRM and on Saturday they’re going to see Angels One Five at the David Lean Cinema. Contact Bob, G3OOU, on 01737 552 170.

Loughton and Epping Forest Amateur Radio Society has its net on Thursday from 8pm on 144.725MHz. Next Saturday and Sunday, as part of International Lighthouse/Lightships on the air Weekend, they will be operating a QRV special event station, GB0TBW, from Trinity Buoy Wharf.
