News for England South-East – 18 December 2016

We start with an advance notice that Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society will be having a talk on Tuesday, 3 January by Jane Humphreys OBE, the former Head of Spectrum Policy at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). For details, see g0mwt.org.uk.

Cambridge and District Amateur Radio Club has club nets today from 8.30am on 144.180MHz USB, 10.30am on 7.0875MHz LSB or 3.620MHz LSB, and 11.30am on 145.550MHz FM. Surrey Radio Contact Club has its regular net on 1905kHz from 9.30am today and next Sunday. Monday sees a talk on the Components Bank by Pat, G4FDN and a talk on the Equipment Loan Scheme by Maurice, G4DDY, plus a chat and fix-it session with John, G8MNY and a pre Christmas get-together.
