We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. Eastbourne Electronics and Radio Club is having a barbecue with the Repeater and Internet Linking Group of East Sussex (RILGES) today from 2pm into the evening. Surrey Radio Contact Club has its Top Band net on 1905kHz from 9.30am today and next Sunday. The Friday net is on 145.350MHz at 8pm. Contact John, G3MCX, on 020 8688 3322.

Southdown Amateur Radio Society is taking part in the 50MHz UKAC on Tuesday from 1900UTC. The 12wpm CW net is on Wednesday from 10am on 7.028MHz, followed by a cafe meet at Beachy Head at 12.30pm, then a meeting with the Beachy Head Radio Society from 2.30pm. Contact Andy, M6GND on 01323 486 924.

Malc Williams, G0EGA will start a new GB2CW Morse class broadcast on 1 and 2 August and continue every subsequent weekend until 30 August. Transmissions are on 145.625MHz from 8pm local time and cover Norwich, Ipswich, Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and surrounding areas.
