We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. Horndean & District Amateur Radio Club is holding a Foundation exam today.

On Thursday there’s a talk about The Mid-Hants Railway, the Watercress Line. Next Saturday and Sunday sees GB2WRM on the air from the World War One Remembrance Museum at Fort Widley for Museums on the Air Weekend. Contact Stuart, G0FYX, on 02392 472 846.

Surrey Radio Contact Club has its Top Band net today and next Sunday on 1905kHz from 9.30am. On Monday there’s a construction and fix-it evening with John, G8MNY. The 2m net is on Friday on 145.350MHz at 9pm. Contact John, G3MCX, on 020 8688 3322.

Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society is holding a Skills Workshop on Monday at Danbury Village Hall, Next Sunday sees GB1JSS on the air for the Summer Solstice at Galleywood Common. Contact secretary@g0mwt.org.uk.

Southdown Amateur Radio Society has its 12wpm CW net on 7.028MHz from 10am on Wednesday, followed by a café meet at Beachy Head at 12.30pm then with the Beachy Head Radio Society from 2.30pm. Next Saturday sees more operations with BHRS from 12.30pm. Contact Andy, M6GND on 01323 486 924.

Malc Williams, G0EGA will start a new GB2CW Morse class broadcast on the 27th and continue every subsequent weekend until 26 July.
