We start with news from the Sussex Electronics and Radio Fair team that GB6SRF will be offering special QSL cards and allowing licenced amateurs to operate the station at the Eastbourne Rally on 6 June, on production of their licence. Free club, educational and personal stands are available at the rally. Details are online at www.serf.org.uk.

Now for clubs with several events this week. Mid-Sussex Amateur Radio Society is participating in Mills on the Air today. Friday sees a construction contest. Contact Sue Davis, G6YPY, on 01273 845 103.

Surrey Radio Contact Club Sunday has its Top Band net today and next Sunday on 1905kHz from 9.30am. Monday sees a talk on homebrew PCB design and production. The 2m net is on Friday on 145.350MHz at 9pm. Contact John, G3MCX, on 020 8688 3322.

Southdown Amateur Radio Society is having a talk on Bletchley Park on Monday. On Wednesday there is a café meet at Beach Head at 1pm and with the Beachy Head Radio Society from 2.30pm on 51.6MHz FM, 144.300MHz SSB and 145.500MHz FM. Thursday sees a 12wpm CW net from 10am on 7.028MHz with G3AGF, G3DQY and G4BJP. Next Saturday sees operations with BHRS from 12.30pm on 51.6MHz FM, 144.300MHz SSB and 145.500MHz FM. Dr M A Williams, G0EGA will start a new GB2CW Morse class broadcast on the 17th and every subsequent weekend until 21 June. Transmissions are on 145.250MHz from 8pm local time on Saturday and Sunday and cover Norwich, Ipswich, Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and surrounding areas.
