Chesham and District Amateur Radio Society are now planning to hold an Intermediate Training Course & exam starting in October 2013. Provisionally the training will run for six sessions starting on Sunday 27th October with the exam on either the 8th or 15th December. More detail from g0vfw@thirlwell.me.uk.

On Sunday 22 and 29 September, Fort Purbrook Amateur Radio Club has a 40m net starting at 9pm, they meet initially 8.55pm on the 2m calling channel, Geoff, G4XMJ is the Net Controller. On Monday there’s a 2m SSB net  on 144.350MHz at 7pm and Mike, G4PRG is the Net Controller. On Wednesday there’s a 70cm net on 433.575MHz at 8pm with Geoff  G4XMJ as net controller.
