Bangor and District Amateur Radio Society meets on the second Tuesday of the month in the Marquis Hall, Abbey Street, Bangor, BT20 4JE from 7.30pm. For more information visit the Society’s Facebook page.

To celebrate St Patrick’s Day, East Antrim Radio Group is running two activations: one this evening, the 17 March, and one tomorrow, the 18 March. Tonight sees the St Patrick’s Day 10m activation on 28.455MHz USB from 8.30pm. Tomorrow is the St Patrick’s Day Bank Holiday WAB ad WAGI 40m activation between 1pm and 4pm around 7.163MHz. The Group will be transmitting from the rare GI square D32. Also, don’t forget the Group is running its usual Thursday night activation from the Larne and Ballyclare area on Thursday 21 March from 7.30pm to 9pm. The 2m activation will take place on 145.275MHz FM and all amateurs are invited to call in. More information about all these activations is available from the club website contact@eastantrim.net

Mid Ulster Amateur Radio Club meets on the second Sunday of every month from 3pm at Tandragee Golf Club. The Club holds a weekly net on Monday evenings on 145.475MHz. Everyone is welcome to call in to MN0VFW and will be made most welcome. muarc.secretary@yahoo.co.uk
