Aberkenfig and District Amateur Radio Club has its weekly meeting on Wednesday from 7pm at Tondu Railway Club, Station Approach, Bridgend. The club is an approved RSGB Examination Centre for those wishing to study and take their amateur radio exams. Brian, GW4DVB, info@aberkenfigradioclub.co.uk

Carmarthen Amateur Radio Society is holding a face-to-face, social and on-air meeting on Tuesday 20 February starting at 6.30pm, so there will be no digital net on XLX490 that evening. Three other regular nets are being held during the week as normal. There will be a 70cm FM net on GB3CM on Wednesday starting at 7.30pm. On Thursday there will be a 2m FM net on GB3FG starting at 8pm, assuming the repeater is working normally, otherwise there will be a digital net on XLX490. Cwmbran and District Amateur Radio Society has a club night every Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm at Henllys Village Hall, NP44 6JZ. New and old members are always welcome. The Society has a fully-equipped shack for member use which also houses the GB3YA repeater, with an Echolink connection via GB3YA-R. Both are owned and maintained by the club.
