Aberkenfig and District Amateur Radio Club has its weekly meeting on Wednesday from 7pm at Tondu Railway Club, Station Approach, Bridgend. The club is an approved RSGB Examination Centre for those wishing to study and take their amateur radio exams. Brian, GW4DVB,

On Tuesday, Barry Amateur Radio Society is meeting for a natter night. On Friday, there will be a Zoom meeting from 7pm hosted by Glyn, GW0ANA. There will be a club net on 144.550MHz from 8pm on Saturday. Steve, 2W0VOG, 07900 560 080

Carmarthen Amateur Radio Society is holding its annual ‘Members and Partners Only Festive Dinner’ this coming Tuesday, 5 December 2023. Members are requested to arrive at the Carmarthen Golf Club from 6.30pm for a 7.30pm meal start. Members are also invited to bring along a raffle prize, relax, enjoy and just have some fun. As a result, there will be no multimode digital net on XLX490 D that evening. Three of the regular nets will be held this week, as follows: a 70cm FM net on GB3CM on Wednesday starting at 7.30pm; a 2m FM net on GB3FG on Thursday starting at 8pm; an 80m SSB net, conditions permitting, on Sunday starting at 2.30pm. Cwmbran and District Amateur Radio Society has a club night every Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm at Henllys Village Hall, NP44 6JZ. New and old members are always welcome. The Society has a fully-equipped shack for member use which also houses the GB3YA repeater, with an Echolink connection via GB3YA-R, which are both owned and maintained by the club. On Sundays, Dragon Amateur Radio Club has a net around 145.550MHz from 7pm.

Highfields Amateur Radio Club meets at Rhiwbina Recreation Club, Lon Y Dail, Cardiff, CF14 6EA at 7pm every Tuesday. The Club has access for disabled visitors. There are nets on GB3WB from 9.30pm to 10.30pm most nights of the week.

On Sundays, Newport Amateur Radio Society has an HF net around 3.705MHz at 10am. On Tuesday, there will be a net on 145.375MHz from 8pm. On Thursday, there will be a meeting at the Society’s clubhouse, and via Zoom, from 7pm. Visit the website to find out more.
