Aberkenfig and District Amateur Radio Club has its weekly meeting on Wednesday from 7pm at Tondu Railway Club, Station Approach, Bridgend. The club station is active most nights working SSB, SSTV and FT8. Brian, GW4DVB, info@aberkenfigradioclub.co.uk.

Carmarthen Amateur Radio Society is holding its Traditional Christmas Dinner on Tuesday the 6th of December. This is a pre-booked members and partners only function being held from 6.45pm onwards. The dress code is Smart Casual. As a result, there will be no 2m FM net on GB3FG that evening. But the regular Wednesday evening 70cm FM net on GB3CM will be held from 7.30pm, and the 2m FM net on GB3FG on Thursday evening will also be held from 8pm. The 80m SSB net on Sunday afternoon will also be held, conditions permitting, starting at 2.30pm. Andy, 07768 282880.

Phoenix Amateur Radio Club will be meeting at Noon on Wednesday at 14 Locks Canal Centre, Cwm Lane, Rogerstone, Newport.

Wrexham and Marches Amateur Radio Society has its Christmas quiz and buffet on Thursday.
