Carmarthen ARS has decided, in the light of the rapid spread of the new Omicron Coronavirus variant, to suspend all face to face meetings until the situation improves, probably in the New Year. Regular nets on HF, 2m and 70cm will continue, providing members with a medium to connect with each other. Contact Andy, GW0JLX on 0776 828 2880.

Aberkenfig & District Amateur Radio Club meetings are held every Wednesday from 7pm at Tondu Railway Canteen, Station Approach, Tondu, Bridgend CF32 9DY. All are welcome. Contact info@aberkenfigradioclub.co.uk for details.

Barry Amateur Radio Society has made some change to its schedule. The meeting due to be held on Tuesday the 21st will not now take place due to the Covid situation. The net on Wednesday will now be on 433.450MHz FM. Contact Steve, 2W0VOG on 0790 056 0080.

During the festive season, members of the Rhondda ARS have decided to reduce their face-to-face contact with others in general, especially those with underlying health concerns, due to the emergence of a new Covid variant. On Tuesday there is a net at 6.30pm on GB3BC, if active, then moving to a simplex channel. At 7.30pm there is a Zoom club meeting. More info from John, GW4BUZ, on 01443 432 542.
