Just a reminder that all UK amateurs are required to revalidate their licence with Ofcom at least every five years. If it has been a while since you did that, go to ofcom.org.uk/manage-your-licence or email spectrum.licensing@ofcom.org.uk. The process doesn’t take very long.

Kettering & District Amateur Radio Society has a breakfast meeting today and next Sunday. On Tuesday there’s an evening meeting and Thursday sees the net from 7pm on 145.300MHz FM. Details from Ed, M0TZX, via email to M0TZX@yahoo.com

Rugby Amateur Transmitting Society has a daily net on 144.275MHz SSB from 8.30am to 9am. Contact Steve, G8LYB, on 01788 578 940 for more information.

Worksop Amateur Radio Society is taking part in the 70MHz Cumulatives contest today. Tuesday sees an introduction to SDR with Paul, M0PJA. Wednesday is radio datamodes and Thursday is a talk on More SDRs with Paul, M0PJA. Details from Paul, M0PJA on 0789 062 6684.

Wythall Radio Club has its net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL from 8pm today and next Sunday. On Tuesday there’s a Morse class with David, G0HVN at 7.30pm, followed by a free & easy night as well as a workshop. More information from Chris, G3YHF, on 0795 839 5904.

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has nets on Monday from 8pm on 145.375MHz FM and 7.175MHz SSB. Wednesday sees a DMR net from 8.30pm on Talk Group 2345974, then on Thursday a net on 50.175MHz SSB from 7pm. On Friday there’s an evening of mini lectures. Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society has an evening of informal activities on Monday. Wednesday sees a club net from 7.30pm on 145.475MHz FM, and on Thursday another club net starting at 7.30pm on 145.475MHz, which then moves to 80m SSB. Midland Amateur Radio Society has its net on Monday from 7.30pm on 145.425MHz, all are welcome to join in.
