We start with a reminder that all UK amateurs are required to revalidate their licence with Ofcom at least every five years. If it has been a while since you did that, go to www.ofcom.org.uk/manage-your-licence or email spectrum.licensing@ofcom.org.uk. The process doesn’t take very long.

Now for clubs that have more than one event this week. Burton Amateur Radio Club has a net on 145.575MHz from 10am today and next Sunday. On Wednesday there’s an open club night and Thursday sees an open net on 145.575MHz from 8pm. Details from Rob, G6EIH, on 0781 214 6333.

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society has a talk about Heathkit on Monday by Brian Woodcock, G4CIB. On Wednesday there’s a club net from 7.30pm on 145.475MHz FM, and on Thursday another club net starting at 7.30pm on 145.475MHz, then moving to 80m SSB.
