We start with news from clubs that have several events this week.

Burton Amateur Radio Club has an open net on 145.575MHz this Sunday and next Sunday at 10am, and also on Thursday at 8pm. Wednesday sees their club night. Contact Rob, G6EIH on 0781 214 6333.

Gloucester Amateur Radio and Electronics Society has informal activities on Monday and a workshop by Brian, G4CIB making a 2m Slim Jim antenna using 300 ohm ribbon cable. On Wednesday it’s their regular club net from 7.30pm on 145.475MHz FM. Thursday sees another club net from 7.30pm, starting on 145.475MHz then moving to 80m SSB. Lincoln Short Wave Club has a committee meeting on Monday. On Wednesday there’s a formal meeting at 7.30pm. Thursday sees the club repeater net on GB3LS from 8pm, and on Saturday there’s a new member induction and open shack from 9.30am. Further details from Pam, G4STO on 01427 788 356.
