We start with news from clubs that have several events this week.

Burton Amateur Radio Club has an open net on 145.575MHz this Sunday and next Sunday at 10am, and also on Thursday at 8pm. Wednesday sees their club night. Contact Rob, G6EIH on 0781 214 6333.

Cheltenham Amateur Radio Association has its net this Sunday and next Sunday at 8.30am on 50.220MHz SSB. On Tuesday there’s a slow CW session at 8pm on 3540 to 3552kHz. Contact Derek, G3NKS on 01242 241 099.

Gloucester Amateur Radio and Electronics Society holds an informal meeting on Monday. On Wednesday it’s their regular club net from 7.30pm on 145.475MHz FM. Thursday sees another club net from 7.30pm on 145.475MHz again, then moving to 80m SSB. On Friday, again from 7.30pm, there’s a net on 432.220MHz SSB. RAF Waddington Amateur Radio Club has its club net on Monday from 8pm on 145.325MHz, and from Wednesday through to Saturday the club will be preparing, attending and assisting at the National Hamfest. South Birmingham Radio Society is holding an open meeting and ragchew on Monday, sorting stock for their next rally.
