We start with news from clubs that have several events this week.

Burton Amateur Radio Club has a club net on 145.575MHz at 10am this Sunday and next Sunday. On Wednesday there’s a shack night. There’s another club net on Thursday at 7.30pm 145.575MHz. Details from Mike Lewis, M0XMX on 0785 068 5961.

This Sunday, Rugby ATS meets from 2 to 4pm for hut maintenance and management. On Tuesday they are taking part in the 2m UK Activity Contest as well as CW practice and training, radio operation and projects. On Saturday the HF and VHF shack is on the air and they will look at practical construction of simple filters, stubs, braid-breakers and EMC countermeasures. On Monday Gloucester Amateur Radio and Electronics Society has a talk Satellites as Digital Repeaters by Dave, G4BCA. The main 2m FM net is on 145.475MHz at 7.30pm on Wednesday.
