A GB2RS bulletin will be prepared for next Sunday, Christmas Day, but it may not be read in all areas. The script will be uploaded to the RSGB website on Friday, and it will contain local news up to 8 January. It can be found, as usual, at rsgb.org/news.

Now for news for clubs with several events this week. Worksop Amateur Radio Society is holding its Intermediate exam today. On Tuesday there’s a club night and the UKACs. Thursday sees a technical night with construction, Morse training, radio operation and data modes. Details from Paul, M0PJA, on 0789 062 6684.

Wythall Radio Club has its net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL from 8pm today and next Sunday. Tuesday sees a Morse class and club meeting. Friday sees the regular nibbles night in the shack and on Saturday the club Christmas contest starts at 8pm. Details from Chris, G0EYO, on 07710 412 819.

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has its open net on Monday from 8pm on 145.375MHz FM and/or 7.16MHz ± QRM. On Thursday there’s an open net from 8pm on 50.175MHz SSB. Friday sees an open net on 145.375Mz instead of the normal meeting. Contact John, G8SEQ, on 07958 777 363.
