Today, the 6th, South Birmingham Radio Society is visiting the West London Radio and Electronics Show at Kempton Park. On Tuesday there’s a coffee morning in the shack from 11am to 1pm and visitors are very welcome. Friday is time for work in the shack. Today, the 6th, Worksop Amateur Radio Society is holding week 7 of its Intermediate course at 6pm, week 8 will be held on the 13th. On Tuesday the club is taking part in the UK Activity Contest as part of the club night activities. On Thursday there’s a technical night with construction, Morse training, radio operation and data modes. Then on Saturday it’s the Intermediate course project build. On Monday Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society is having an illustrated talk by Brian, G4CIB on Operating Portable from Islands Large and Small. Wednesday is a net at 7.30pm, initially on 145.500 then moving to 145.550 or the nearest clear channel. Thursday is another net at 7.30pm on 145.550 then decide what to do and were to move to.
